Tyler Coen is the founder of Coen & Company, a platform devoted to discipleship, intentional growth, and clear direction for individuals and couples. His work is shaped by a unique blend of education, ministry, research, and lived experience, all of which inform a thoughtful and structured approach to helping people move forward with purpose.
Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, along with extensive graduate work in education focused on curriculum and instruction. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology with a focus on theology, where his research centers on identity, attention, formation, and neuroplasticity. His work explores how patterns of thought, habits, and environments shape the way people live, grow, and make meaning over time.
Tyler has served in worship ministry, young adult ministry, teaching, and mentoring roles, investing in the spiritual growth and development of others. Coen & Company was formed out of a desire to meet people where they are and to offer the same kind of steady, intentional support that shaped him during his own journey toward growth and wholeness. That personal experience continues to inform the way he walks alongside others today.
In addition to his coaching work, Tyler invests in consulting and writing, contributing to leadership development, business strategy, and the design of structured learning experiences within professional and educational contexts. His background in curriculum development allows him to create clear and intentional pathways that help people move from insight to action.
Tyler’s approach is both grounded and practical. He works from a biblical framework while also engaging with research and real world application, helping clients make sense of their story, recognize what is shaping their thinking and behavior, and build patterns that support lasting change. Known for his attentiveness to detail and his ability to listen with care and precision, he creates space for conversations that lead to clarity, direction, and meaningful next steps.
He remains actively engaged in ongoing research and professional development through organizations such as the American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, American Association of Christian Counselors, Society of Biblical Literature, American Academy of Religion, and the Association of Practical Theology.
