Hey everyone! I just have to take a moment and share what an incredible start we had to our Romans Bible study last night. Honestly, it was one of those evenings that just felt special from the start. We had a fantastic turnout, and it was so encouraging to see everyone coming together, Bibles open, ready to dig into the Word.
Exploring Romans 1 to 3: Finding Relevance Today
We covered Romans chapter 1, verse 1 all the way through to chapter 3, verse 20. Now, that might sound like a lot, but once we got into it, the time just flew. Paul’s words in these chapters are so rich and layered. He’s laying down the foundation of the gospel message, talking about humanity’s need for salvation, and you can just feel how relevant it still is.
One of the most powerful moments was realizing how Paul doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff. He talks about sin, about how everyone—no matter who we are—falls short, and how desperately we all need God’s grace. But that heaviness actually makes the good news of Jesus shine even brighter. It’s like seeing how deep the need is makes the gift of grace even more amazing.
The Beauty of Sharing and Learning Together
What I loved most was the conversation. Everyone brought something different to the table. Some shared personal reflections, others asked great questions, and we all got to wrestle with the text together. There was this wonderful sense of community—like we were all on a journey of discovery together, not just as individuals.
I left feeling so encouraged and honestly pretty excited for what’s ahead. This is just the start, and I can tell we’re going to dive even deeper in the coming weeks.
Looking Ahead and Getting Involved
If you missed out this time, don’t worry. I’d really encourage you to read through Romans 1 to 3 on your own this week. Take some time to pray and ask God to show you something new. And of course, we’d love for you to join us next week as we keep going. Whether you’re joining in person or tuning in online, there’s a place for you in this study.
I’m so grateful to each of you who made our first night so special. Let’s keep diving into the richness of Romans and see what God has in store for us. Feel free to share your thoughts or reflections in the comments—let’s keep the conversation going!
